Anat Heller (Phd), drama therapist. A senior lecturer and Instructor in the drama therapy department at the Tel Hai Academic College in Israel. She is married, a mother of five children and lives in the Upper Galilee, the northern part of Israel. For many years, Anat is developing and teaching the sand tray as therapeutic tool based theatre. She was inspired by puppet-theater, drama therapy and body & mind theories
Anat is one of the founders of the first "open studio" (arts based therapy) in Israel since 2002 at the Psychiatric Department at Ziv Hospital. This field combines arts and phenomenological approach to work of development and healing. She researched and developed a therapeutic program of "Open Studio" in an educational framework. In addition, Anat teaches therapeutic puppetry in "house 9" Puppetry school in Haifa and has a private clinic of creative expression therapy for children and adults.
